    Srinagar, June 17: Prominent travel operators have intensified efforts to revive tourism in Kashmir post-Pahalgam attack.  “Kashmir is safe and offers a secure holiday experience for tourists,” said a delegation of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), which is currently on its visit to the valley to promote tourism.  IATO, in cooperation with  Indigo and prominent hotel chains including ITC and Radisson, was on a four-day visit to the Valley to assess the situation here for tourists.

A Kashmiri MBBS student in Tehran, she recites Quranic verses whenever the sirens blare.  This has been a routine for her for the last three days as the Iran-Israel conflict escalates with intensifying airstrikes and rising civilian casualties. “We can’t explain! It looks like doomsday. We can hear huge blasts and people in panic to save their lives,” she said.

    Srinagar, June 10: Waking up to massive economic loss, India’s leading tourism alliances are joining forces to send a clear and confident message: Kashmir is safe for tourists. The Federation of Associations of Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH), along with the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), and key members of the Hotel Association of India (HAI), will undertake a four-day visit to the Valley from June 14 to 17.
