Tuesday, Oct. 24, her new memoir, “What’s Left Unsaid: My Life at the Center of Power, Politics & Crisis,” hits the shelves. The next night, she’ll be at UAlbany for a discussion about the book with longtime Capitol reporter Ken Lovett, who spent the majority of his 25 years covering state politics for the Daily News and New York Post.

Fifty years ago, these glasses were available from Carrols and other fast-food restaurants. ALBANY — New York state tourism hit record highs in 2022, bringing in more than $78.6 billion in direct spending and $123 billion in total economic impact. Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the record spending Wednesday and said the spending was generated from more than 291.5 million visitors, which was also a record.

St. Johnsville will be kicking off its inaugural September Fest this Thursday. The main attraction of the three-day fair, which is sponsored by the American Legion, will be its food, with booths selling clam chowder, sausage sandwiches, fried dough, fries and more for cheap prices. “I’m hoping that they feel like the food prices are very affordable for a family compared to most other fairs,” said Chris Arduini, one of the organizers of the festival.
