The Logan Banner, which was first called the Logan County Banner, is a local newspaper based in Logan, West Virginia. Its distribution is focused on Logan County and nearby regions. This newspaper was established in 1889 by Henry Clay Ragland, a former Confederate army soldier, and started as a weekly publication. In 1935, it transitioned to a Monday through Friday afternoon schedule. Then, in 1981, it changed to its current unique publishing routine of Tuesday to Friday afternoons and Sunday mornings.
