Newcastle United picked up what could prove to be their biggest Premier League win of the season on Sunday. It was a strange watch. Newcastle United fans seeing their team explode out of the blocks and dominate the first half, when they could and should have been more than one goal up at the break. However, this then followed by a very different 45 minutes, where the 10 men of Chelsea dominated possession and territory.

There have been 16 different members of the NUFC squad who have contributed at least one direct goal involvement.

With bookies taking stock after Sunday’s matches, regarding those chasing Champions League places. Newcastle 2-0 winners over Chelsea, then Forest only drawing 2-2 with Leicester. That followed Saturday’s narrow 1-0 win for Villa at Bournemouth and Man Coty only drawing 0-0 at Southampton.

I don’t think many Newcastle United fans realise just how much of a change next season is going to be, when it comes to Sky Sports and showing Premier League matches. A new set of broadcasting deals comes in for next season. The headlines are as follows. Amazon Prime are going from currently broadcasting 20 Premier League matches live, down to zero from next season. TNT Sports are showing no change, they will still broadcast 52 Premier League matches live.
