The Metropolitan

The Metropolitan, often referred to as The Met, serves as the student newspaper for Metropolitan State University of Denver. It publishes weekly with a circulation of 3,500 copies, available every Thursday at over 60 spots on the Auraria Campus and in various places around downtown Denver. This tabloid-format publication includes sections dedicated to news, sports, opinions, features, and music. Its content is tailored to address topics that matter to students at Metro and the other institutions on the Auraria Campus.

Villain Arts hosts tattoo festivals in many cities throughout the U.S. and celebrated its seventh year in Denver in June 2024.

    The Metrosphere team was thrilled to attend Denver Fashion Week’s Society night. Society night is a time to celebrate the interaction between society and fashion and these designers did not disappoint. The event began with a thrilling musical performance by a rapper and Denver local, Sir Devon, who performed an entertaining set. With amazing beats and heavy audience interaction, Sir Devon kicked the night off right. Presenting a beguiling showing was designer, Tyne Hall.
