ENN also creates a weekly evening news broadcast called Elon Local News, publishes a weekly newspaper titled The Pendulum, offers a weekly online-only program known as The Online Exclusive, and hosts a morning broadcast show called ELN Morning. You can find the ENN office in McEwen 108.

Four months ago, Denise Schweiss sent a letter to a friend in the hospital to express her gratitude to him. He helped her buy music equipment and start her music career — which she then did for 25 years. ‘’“If he wouldn't have given me that more support, I never would have done it, and I did it for 25 years. I sang because of his influence,” Schweiss said. Recently, Schweiss’ friend passed away. “People forget what they do for you, and you have to remind them,” Schweiss said.

Early Monday April 21, the head of the Catholic Church Pope Francis died from a stroke. Franics was 88 years old. He died near Saint Peter’s Basilica, where he has resided since his election in 2013. At 5 p.m. Monday evening, the bells at Elon University’s Rhodes Stadium rung 88 times, once for each year of his life. On Tuesday, April 22, Elon University’s Numen Lumen Sacred Space will hold a memorial mass for Francis at 4:30 p.m. After this mass, the space will be open for people to share words about Francis and the legacy he left behind.

With under three months until graduation, the Student Professional Development Center has continued to use Elon Q&A, a new tool implemented in the fall semester, utilizing AI to connect students with alumni. Elon Q&A was implemented in September 2024, and assistant vice president for SPDC Brooke Buffington said the platform has been an easy and effective way to get students to connect with alumni.
