Neil Emberg, founder and current member of Hadrian’s Wall, is organizing Summer Recording Sessions to give bands and solo acts the opportunity to record for the first time.     Get ready for a Saturday of roaring engines and high-performance power in Vankleek Hill. The annual Truck Pull and Show ‘n Shine is on Saturday, June 21 at the Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds. The gates open at 9 am on Saturday, and the truck pulls begin at 10 am. There are five different pull classes. At 1:30 pm, the Monster Truck show starts and is sure to impress crowds with a variety of vehicles performing daring and unbelievable moves.

    The first local agricultural fair of the season begins this Friday, June 20, in Maxville. The Maxville Fair, presented by the Kenyon Agricultural Society, continues until Sunday, June 22. The Exhibition Hall opens on Friday, and there is entertainment by The County Lads that evening. Saturday is a busy day at the fair. It includes the English Horse Show, Baby Show, volleyball tournament, and Corn Hole tournament.

    There was a multi-vehicle collision in the Grenville-bound lanes of the Long Sault Bridge during the afternoon of Monday, June 16. At least three vehicles following each other collided between 2 pm and 3 pm. The left lane was completely blocked. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene.
