The Telegram (Jackson, OH)

The Telegram has been a locally owned newspaper since it started in the 1880s. Initially called The Coalton Times, it was later relocated to Wellston where it became The Wellston Republican. In 1893, the name changed to The Wellston Telegram. In the mid-1990s, I updated the newspaper's name to simply The Telegram to better represent its strong circulation across two counties.
