The Lady Yellow Jackets are using this summer to prepare for the upcoming season in hopes of duplicating last year’s success. “We try to schedule as many games as we can and also still let the girls have a summer. We lift and practice three times a week. We try to schedule games in there as well,” Central softball coach Robyn Trammell said.

Wide receiver Jaydon Dunbar announced via social media that he had committed to the Pittsburgh Panthers. “I’m thankful for what the Lord has done for me and everything he’s taken me through to get to where I am today and with that being said I am proud to say I am committed to Pittsburgh,” Dunbar announced on Instagram.

Grady County competed in this week’s District 3 softball tournament in Moultrie. Grady County finished runner-up to Moultrie and ahead of Tift County and Lee County. Grady County collected an 8-0 win over Lee County on Saturday and a 2-1 victory over Tift County on Monday.
