CJ Daniels, LSU wide receiver, is making an impact on and off the football field. CJ and his mother Natalie Beavers, epilepsy survivor, worked with LSU Athletics, Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana, Angels of Epilepsy, Our Lady of the Lake, and The Neuromedical Center Clinic to create a night of awareness and safety training here in LSU’s Tiger Stadium Lawton room this past Thursday on the 22nd.

BREAKING NEWSA power outage was reported Wednesday afternoon to affect multiple areas on LSU campus, including Tiger Stadium, Hodges, and the Journalism building. Surrounding buildings were affected for a brief moment, but no other buildings were reported of losing power. Lights on Highland and South Stadium Drive also seem to have been down.

David Shepard, an LSU professor of software engineering and computer interactions, works alongside his team of LSU students to create a virtual reality headset designed to assist people with ADHD. Their headset creates an environment where students with ADHD can stay focused and be kept on task by complex algorithms.

From what started off as a pass time during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, writing short stories led senior at LSU, Ashaad McCray, to his first published book. Inspired by the game a video game,"Dungeons and Dragons", McCray started posting his short stories online, but did not think of publishment at the moment.

There is much more to homecoming royalty than just a shiny crown. Seniors, Camille Cronin and Brian Gage, are involved in many organizations from student government to Greek life and there isn't much they don't do. They exemplify the values of LSU and their involvement shines through the campus. "Being involved is the greatest thing you can possibly do whenever you come to college, in my opinion," states Brian. Brian is from Maurice, Louisiana and is a first generation college student.
