With concerns growing over deteriorating potable water quality and wastewater disposal issues at Arches National Park, the Moab City Council on April 8 agreed to send a letter to U.S. Sen. Mike Lee asking for funding to help to extend the city’s water and wastewater services to the park. The Moab Water Reclamation Facility could be extended to Arches National Park if funding is made available for the $26 million project.
