Yokohama Tire has released the 116R premium regional all-position steer tire, made in the USA at its Mississippi plant. The tire is available in three sizes, 11R22.5, 295/75R22.5 and 11R24.5, with a seven-year unlimited retread casing warranty. Pirelli has introduced two rear tire options for the Moto2, debuting them at the Jerez Spanish Grand Prix. These include a standard soft and supersoft SCX tire. The soft tire, previously known as the D0640 development spec, will become the new standard soft labeled SC0.
