This is an opportunity to time travel backwards and forwards through the years and get a real appreciation of the town’s history and the people who made it. The building is in fact two neighbouring Elizabethan houses now linked by a gallery.

Figures from the TaxPayers’ Alliance (TPA), a right-wing pressure group, show Donna Manson is ranked 45th out of more than 3,900 council workers in the UK based on her salary of £207,000 from the 2023/24 financial year. That puts her in the top two per cent nationally.

The charity’s lifeguards responded to 6,892 incidents, aided 9,178 people and saved 43 lives, while volunteer lifeboat crews launched 1,475 times, saving 39 lives and spent a total of 10,342 hours at sea.
