TVO

TVOntario, commonly referred to as TVO and displayed as tvo on air, is a publicly funded educational television channel in Canada that broadcasts in English. This media organization serves the province of Ontario and is managed by the Ontario Educational Communications Authority, which is a Crown corporation under the Government of Ontario. TVO operates two main television stations: CICA in Toronto, which uses virtual and UHF digital channel 19, and CICO-24 in Ottawa, utilizing virtual and UHF digital channel 24. These stations distribute their content to various regions in Ontario through seven additional rebroadcast stations. Moreover, TVO is accessible via cable across Ontario, and all cable providers in the province must include it in their basic service packages.
