Usga
The USGA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing the sport of golf. Established in 1894, we organize many of the top professional and amateur championships, such as the U.S. Open and the U.S. Women’s Open. Together with The R&A, we oversee the game by setting global standards for play, equipment, handicapping, and amateur status. Our headquarters in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, features the Association’s Research and Test Center, where we use science and innovation to support a sustainable future for golf. Additionally, the USGA Golf Museum on our campus showcases an extensive collection of golf artifacts, celebrating the rich history of the game.
