XXL (Magazine)
XXL is a hip hop magazine based in the United States, launched in 1997 and published by Townsquare Media. Over the years, it has had several notable editors, including Reginald C. Dennis, who previously worked at The Source, Sheena Lester, the former editor-in-chief of RapPages and a music editor for Vibe, Elliott Wilson, a former contributor at ego trip and The Source, who currently holds the #7 position on The Source's Digital 30 list, and Datwon Thomas, the ex-Editor-In-Chief of King. In May 2009, Datwon Thomas stepped down from his role, leading to Vanessa Satten, who had been with XXL since 1998, being appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief.

Soulja Boy is currently on trial after being hit with a lawsuit accusing him of rape and kidnapping. Now the alleged victim has asked a jury to award her $73.6 million in damages. During the last month, Soulja Boy has suited up and shown face in court to tell his side of the story against a woman accusing him of heinous crimes. The accuser, who has asked to remain anonymous in the court proceedings, claims she was raped, beaten and imprisoned by the rapper while employed as his personal assistant.
