The FADER is a music magazine based in New York that was founded in 1999 by Rob Stone and Jon Cohen. It covers a variety of up-and-coming music, fashion, and cultural trends. Notably, The FADER was the first magazine to be available on iTunes. It has played a significant role in bringing attention to many artists before they hit the mainstream, such as Kanye West, Bon Iver, The Strokes, Drake, The White Stripes, and more recently, Nigerian artist Davido.
