The Owls failed to pay players and other staff members in March this year. Luckily, owner Dejphon Chansiri resolved the failed payment issue in time to avoid a potential transfer embargo. The issue was put down to “cashflow problems” from Chansiri’s other businesses. With players and staff being paid in April, it seemed like finances at the club were fine.
