His player rating change makes Osenda Tennessee's second five-star in its 2026 football recruiting class, joining quarterback Faizon Brandon. The 6-foot-7, 330-pound prospect is an in-state commitment from Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 247Sports now ranks Osenda as the No. 4 offensive tackle in the class and No. 2 player in Tennessee.

One week remains in the 2025 SEC baseball regular season. Ahead of the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Alabama, MLB released its list of the top 150 prospects for the 2025 MLB draft. Among the prospects, Tennessee infielder Andrew Fischer ranks No. 35 overall. He is the No. 1 first baseman and No. 5 third baseman on the prospect list.

Tennessee is already making efforts to recruit toward its 2028 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to linebacker Skylar Alston on Tuesday. "Extremely blessed to have received an offer from Vol football," Alston said. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect is from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has not accumulated any recruiting rankings from Rivals, 247Sports or On3. Temple was the first program to offer Alston a scholarship on Jan. 31.

Tennessee is looking to expand its 2026 football recruiting class. The Vols offered a scholarship to four-star offensive tackle Kamari Blair on Tuesday. "I am blessed to say that I have just picked up an offer from Vol football," Blair announced. The 6-foot-6, 280-pound prospect is an in-state target from Kirkwood High School in Clarksville, Tennessee. 247Sports ranks Blair as the No. 28 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 9 player in Tennessee.

Tennessee is recruiting its backyard for the 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to 2027 linebacker JP Peace from West High School in Knoxville on Tuesday. "I am blessed and grateful to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee," Peace said. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound prospect is a Vols' legacy. His father Robert Peace played at Tennessee from 2000-03. The 2027 linebacker has not accumulated any recruiting rankings from 247Sports, Rivals or On3.
