WBOS-FM (Boston, MA)
WBOS (92.9 MHz, known as "Rock 92.9") is a commercial FM radio station based in Brookline, Massachusetts, catering to the Greater Boston area. The station is owned and managed by Beasley Broadcast Group, with its studios and offices located in Dorchester. WBOS features a classic rock format that they describe as "the next generation of classic rock." Unlike its competitor WZLX, which plays music from the 1960s through the 90s, WBOS focuses primarily on hits from the 1990s and early 2000s, while still including some tracks from the 1980s. The station also broadcasts "Dave and Chuck the Freak," a morning show that is syndicated from their sister station WRIF in Detroit.
