A Maine woman who has been accused of killing her son back in December may not even end up going to trial, according to the KJ. Court documents show that prosecutors believe that Megan McDonald, 40 of Sidney, allegedly strangled her 14-year-old son at their home with a scarf before stabbing him in the chest, killing him. The Kennebec Journal reports that McDonald told police after the alleged murder that she talks directly to God and gets her instructions from him.
