Disneyland Paris will open a new seasonal “Star Wars”-inspired terrace featuring roaming characters this month. Lounge Lightspeed is an outdoor terrace tucked under the life-size X-Wing atop Starport. While Starport is already home to “Star Wars” meet and greets, other characters will appear at the lounge. Some of these have been confirmed to include the BDX droids that arrived at Disneyland Paris for May the 4th and, according to the concept art, Stormtroopers.

For the Disneyland 70th Celebration, Toy Story Midway Mania! at Disney California Adventure has a special overlay featuring the celebration’s “70” logo. The overlay includes special decorations in the ride’s queue. It looks like Andy got a hold of a Disneyland 70th Celebration sticker pack. Various “70” and “Celebrate Happy” stickers with silver holographic borders are on the walls behind the talking Mr. Potato Head.

Duffy and ShellieMay have arrived at Disneyland for the park’s 70th anniversary celebration. In an Instagram and TikTok video, Disney Parks shared a first look at the bears’ 70th anniversary outfits, which were first teased via concept art. Like Mickey & Friends, their outfits are a mix of vibrant colors. Duffy’s outfit is more blue, and ShellieMay’s dress is more purple. Duffy’s hat and shirt are a spin on his usual sailor-style look, while ShellieMay’s dress incorporates a tutu.

Disneyland Resort shared a preview of the new Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket that will be available during the celebration. The bucket depicts Mickey in his black tuxedo jacket, red pants, white shirt, and yellow bowtie. He has an oversized head to give Mickey a more cutesy appearance. The strap is blue and features images of Mickey smiling. The bucket is also unique because it is interactive. Mickey is voice-activated and will blink his eyes as well as turn his head from side to side.

WDWNT got a first look at some of the special food and drink novelties that will be available during the Disneyland 70th Celebration, including a new Abominable Snowman Sipper. The light-up Mickey balloon bucket was released a few days ago, but everything else will be released on May 16, which is the official start of the celebration. This includes the Disneyland 70th Celebration Travel Tumbler. The tumbler is the same light blue as the balloon bucket and includes a purple lid.
