The WVU football staff came close to landing Florida athlete LaRon Dues, but fell shy of winning his commitment. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Dues announced his commitment to Indiana on Tuesday after spending the weekend in Bloomington. Dues’ made his official visit to WVU the prior weekend, but he picked the Hoosiers over West Virginia, George Tech, Oregon and USF. Labeled an “athlete” in recruiting circles, Dues will most likely be a cornerback as a Mountaineer.

And then following his weekend in Morgantown, Snyder feels even more confident he made the right decision to become a future Mountaineer. “Had a great OV weekend in Morgantown!
