Former WVU basketball guard Joseph Yesufu is getting right into his next career, joining Campbell as an assistant coach. Jeff Goodman of Field of 68 reported Wednesday evening that new Campbell coach Josh Andrzejek will be brining Joseph Yesufu in as a member of his staff. Yesufu just concluded his college playing career, playing his senior season with the Mountaineers this year. Yesufu, who transferred in from Washington State, appeared in 29 games, averaging 6.4 points and 2.0 rebounds.
Ross Hodge Adds Sean McClurg to WVU Basketball Staff

Ross Hodge has added Sean McClurg to the WVU basketball staff as director of video, scouting and analytics, the program announced Wednesday. McClurg follows Hodge from North Texas, where he spent last season in the same role. McClurg is the third staff member to follow Hodge from UNT, joining assistant coaches Jase Herl and Phil Forte. “Sean brings a great deal of experience and knowledge in the new age of analytics and advanced scouting,” Hodge said in a statement.

New WVU basketball coach Ross Hodge has been busy the last few weeks rebuilding a roster that was left bare when he got to Morgantown. With the transfer portal window closing at midnight on Tuesday, Hodge was able to bring in a seven-man transfer class for his inagual season with the Mountaineers. WVU’s transfer class is ranked 26th in the nation by 247Sports and fifth in the Big 12.

Abraham Oyeadier got in just under the wire, entering the transfer portal on the final day of the window Tuesday. First reported by Keenan Cummings of Rivals, Abraham Oyeadier (6-foot-9) entered the portal on Tuesday and will transfer from WVU. Originally from Accra, Ghana, Oyeadier played high school basketball at the Academy of Sports Science in California before joining the Mountaineers last offseason.
MAC TE Grayson Barnes Commits to West Virginia

WVU football bolstered its tight ends room with a commitment from Northern Illinois transfer Grayson Barnes Saturday morning. Grayson Barnes (6-5, 225) is a converted wide receiver who caught 31 passes for 338 yards and four touchdowns this past season. As a receiver in 2023, Barnes caught 23 passes for 422 yards and five scores. Barnes helped the Huskies to an 8-5 record last season. He caught six passes for 57 yards and a pair of touchdowns in NIU’s Potato Bowl win over Fresno State.
WVU Basketball Picks up St. Bonaventure Guard Chance Moore

WVU basketball picked up a commitment from former St. Bonaventure guard Chance Moore, he announced on social media Thursday evening. Chance Moore (6-6) played just one season at St. Bonaventure after transferring from Missouri State. He started 32 games with the BOnnies, averaging 13.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Moore helped St. Bonaventure to a 22-12 record and a berth in the NIT. Moore scored a season-hgih 27 points in the second game of the season against Canisus.
