The opening will bring job opportunities along with amenities for travelers. The company is celebrating with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 26. The West Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce is expected to attend, and Pilot will be giving $20,000 to West Baton Rouge Parish Schools.

The team is going to celebrate on Wednesday, June 25, at Alex Box Stadium. Harris represents District 7, where a Sunday, June 22 shooting on South Choctaw Drive left one person dead and others hurt.
