Photo: Getty ImagesPresident Donald Trump received a dramatic fighter jet escort before landing in Saudi Arabia Tuesday (May 13) morning, with six Saudi F-15s flying "in close proximity" to Air Force One during the final half-hour of its flight. Trump's deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino shared a video clip of the jets flying closely to Air Force One on his X account. "Good morning from Air Force One, Saudi Arabia! Trump is wrong about Veterans Day. Completely, offensively, disappointingly wrong. In the dark of the night, governing via social media, he decided to do away with the day Congress and the American people have set aside to honor and thank those who have honorably worn the uniform of the United States. I had intended to run down South Avenue, maybe to Elmwood, and come back through Mount Hope, cross the Ford Street Bridge and head back on Exchange and then Broad.                But on the corner of MLK, across from the ESL building, I heard the screaming of the sirens.                It was chiefs’ trucks, SUVs, from the fire department. You can tell by the sound.
