WHYI-FM, commonly referred to as Y100, is a well-established FM Top 40 (CHR) radio station operating at a frequency of 100.7 MHz. It is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is owned by iHeartMedia. The station transmits with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts from its transmitter, which stands 1,007 feet tall and is situated on the Miami-Dade side of the Miami-Dade/Broward County line, close to U.S. 441 and County Line Road. On an average day, listeners can tune in from as far north as Fort Pierce, southwest to Key Largo, and deep into the Everglades to the west. Occasionally, its signal reaches as far east as the Bahamas and as far south as Cuba. The station’s studios are located in Miramar.
