Late Thursday night, a McBee police officer was shot while responding to an incident on 11th Street near McBee High School, according to Chesterfield County Sheriff Cambo Streater. For a flat fee of $5 ($3 for Uber One subscribers), a driver will return up to five packages to the post office or a FedEx or UPS store. Packages will need to be sealed with proper postage before they're picked up. Uber Connect was launched in 2020 during the pandemic as a same-day delivery and courier service.
