WNBA
The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) is a professional basketball league in the United States. It features twelve teams, all located within the country. Established on April 22, 1996, the WNBA serves as the women's equivalent to the National Basketball Association (NBA), with its inaugural season kicking off in 1997. The regular season runs from May to September, including an All-Star game held in July, except during Olympic years, followed by the WNBA Finals which take place from late September to early October.
