The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 on Sunday afternoon. The Brewers got out to a quick lead with a solo home run from William Contreras in the first inning. In the third inning, Mark Canha hit a solo home run to extend the Brewers lead to 2-0. Wade Miley cruised for much of his outing on Sunday on the mound for the Brewers. He took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, but the Phillies dashed those hopes with a hard single past third baseman Andruw Monasterio.

The month of September is here and a playoff-type atmosphere was felt at American Family Field on Friday night. The Milwaukee Brewers earned a come-from-behind victory 7-5 over the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies struck first with a solo home run by Kyle Schwarber in the first inning. After that, Freddy Peralta was pretty much untouchable for the Brewers on the mound. He completed six innings, allowing just that one run. He struck out ten batters and didn't walk any Phillies.

The streak has come to an end. For the first time in twelve days, the Milwaukee Brewers lost a baseball game on Tuesday night, falling to the Chicago Cubs 1-0. It was a battle of aces on the mound. Justin Steele started for the Cubs and was able to wiggle out of a few jams to keep the Brewers off the board. On the other side, Corbin Burnes allowed just one run over seven innings. That run came in the first inning and Burnes held the Cubs scoreless the rest of the way.
