Lyman senior Braxton Condos has chosen to continue his rodeo career in college after signing at Central Wyoming College. Condos has finished in the top 15 all three years of his high school career in team roping. As a junior, he was the Southwest Wyoming Heeler of the Year in 2024. In the 2025 Wyoming High School Rodeo season, Condos is 15th as a heeler in the team roping standings with 21 points. Braxton has also accumulated four points in tie-down calf roping.

The WyoPreps Athletes of the Week, presented by Premier Bone and Joint Centers, turned in outstanding efforts on the softball diamond and in field events from track and field. After last week’s performances, April 28 through May 4, 2025, Campbell County junior Sadie Cole, Campbell County senior Raynor Ranum, and Kelly Walsh senior Landon Walker were chosen for the weekly honor.

With perfect weather conditions, Kelly Walsh and Natrona battled it out on Thursday in the annual Diamond Ball Classic at the Field of Dreams Complex. The Classic match-up was the first game of a doubleheader, and it was all Natrona as they won going away 24-8. Lexa Randolph had a game to remember for NC as she hit 3 home runs with 6 RBI's, and you don't see that kind of effort at the plate very often.

Torrington senior Jaycee Hurley will play basketball in college after inking with Dickinson State in North Dakota. Hurley has been a three-sport star for the Blazers. She was a four-year letter-winner and three-year starter in basketball. Hurley earned all-conference honors twice, including during the 2024-25 season. She helped Torrington to a 15-10 overall record.

Ilyanna Haigler of Natrona was ready to move on from athletics and become just a regular student at Casper College. But after some consideration, she will continue her swimming career at the next level by attending Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. In her senior season, Haigler qualified for the State Tournament in 4 events, the 100 and 200 freestyle, plus the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams.
