AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — During its Community Lunch on Thursday, the Amarillo Independent School District put forward some potential changes that could be coming to the district for the 2025-2026 school year. During the lunch, Amarillo ISD Superintendent Doug Loomis said the district will likely be looking at consolidating campuses before the next school year. Loomis talked about the continuing decline in enrollment at some AISD campuses during the community luncheon.

HEREFORD, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — According to court documents, Mary Frye, 29, was booked into the Deaf Smith County jail for allegedly stalking a local elected official, and a condition of release was filed with the complaint. According to the court documents, the victim received numerous electronic communications from a phone number that belonged to Frye through a reverse phone number lookup database.
