Heads up for #Kamloops residents: In an email, Kruger says the pulp mill in the city is holding a practice evacuation in a few minutes at 8:30 a.m., meaning the mill alarm systems will sound. Residents nearby may hear it. Kruger expects it to last 60 minutes.

#Kamloops Fire Rescue still on scene of a fire near the Reservoir Trail by Home Depot. Looked like a grassfire but it has spread into the trees. Overheard on the firefighters radio that only the top isn’t contained. More shortly @CFJC_Today https://t.co/we1gKVAVlD
