The main studio is located at the intersection of Pemberton Terrace and Columbia Street West in Kamloops, while its transmitter can be found near the Southern Yellowhead Highway/Highway 5, to the southeast of Kamloops Airport. By Mission Flats Fire May 14, 2025 | 6:47 AM KAMLOOPS — A fire has ignited in the Mission Flats Landfill. The call to the scanner came in at around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday (May 14). Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) reported a metal pile in the landfill was on fire. KFR has asked for the City of Kamloops’ Community Services Officers and the local RCMP detachment to keep residents away from the stretch of Mission Flats Road as they battle the fire.
