The reality of living near an Airbnb rental property in Houston, for some, has been a nightmare. At a recent Quality of Life Committee at Houston City Council, more than 50 people showed up to vent their complaints, which ran the gamut from scary and sad to outright gross. One neighboring home was sprayed with 20 bullets. Another was left with vomit all over the driveway, leaving the owner to clean it up the next morning.

The aging plant supplies water to around 75% of Houston’s total population, or around 1.9 million people.
