BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Lummi Nation has issued an alert for a missing teen. Edmonds Police say that 16-year-old Tabitha Perez-Running Bear was last seen on Jan. 22. They believe she may be either in the Bellingham or Lynden areas. Perez-Running Bear is known to wear loose fitting jeans and graphic t-shirts. She stands at 5’2″ with brown eyes and dyed brown hair. Anyone with information on her location is asked to call 9-1-1.

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Washington State Patrol and Bellingham Police are asking for help locating a mission Indigenous teen. WSP says 15-year-old Ariel Feliciano was last seen at 9:20 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13 getting into an early 2000’s dark blue Honda Civic or Accord. Feliciano was wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray Adidas pants, and gray and red Air Jordan shoes. They are described as 5 foot 3 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

NORTH CASCADES, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Wildfire activity has once again shut down part of the North Cascades Highway. WSDOT closed Highway 20 between mileposts 148 at Granite Creek and MP 157 at Easy Pass as of 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 21. The U.S. Forest Service issued an update on the Easy Fire that showed it has grown to 300 acres. The fire was sparked by dry lightning storms in the Methow Valley on Wednesday, July 17.

STEHEKIN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Pioneer Wildfire near Lake Chelan is now burning over 23,000 acres, prompting evacuation orders after days of hot and windy weather. Chelan County Emergency Management said in a Facebook post on Tuesday, July 16 that a Level 1 evacuation order is now in place for the town of Stehekin at the north end of the lake. A Level 1 order means residents there should stay alert and prepare to evacuate.
