Hundreds attended events in Lynnwood and Edmonds on Thursday morning, sharing food and songs alongside friends and neighbors. MARYSVILLE — The Marysville School District’s Board of Directors voted on Monday to appoint Tulalip tribal member Malory Simpson to fill a vacant seat on the board. The position was left vacant after Connor Krebbs, who was elected in 2021, resigned from his position on June 7. He resigned to take on a staff position at the Marysville School District, he said before his resignation but did not specify the position he is seeking. Two school board members had previously resigned in 2024.
