NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The National Weather Service (NWS) reports an EF-1 tornado touched down in Christiana, Tennessee on Saturday. The NWS survey team reports the tornado touched down in northwest Bedford County near Carter Crossroads where it damaged or destroyed a half dozen outbuildings, storage buildings, and barns. The tornado continued to travel east-northeast where it caused minor damage until it reached into far southwestern Rutherford County.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn.--Rutherford County Fire and Rescue (RCFR) and the Rutherford County Fire Marshal's Office (RCFMO) are cautioning residents about open burning risks following a call to a Halls Hill Pike home. RCFMO reports crews arrived to the home on Friday evening to find a hot tub and nearby vegetation on fire. Investigators determined an unattended fire pit combined with elevated winds caused the fire to spread. The agency also released video which captured the incident.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Flooding concerns continue for Middle Tennessee while most of the area remains under a Tornado Watch through 9 p.m. Saturday. A Tornado Watch is in effect through 9pm Saturday while a Flood Watch is in effect until 1 a.m. Sunday. Some areas have already seen over 2" of rainfall and continued storms could leave an additional 2"-4" through the day. Areas west of I-65 are expected to see the highest totals.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.--The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) reports finding a man has died after being stabbed multiple times. Police say the a call for a welfare check at the Campville Mobile Home Park on Cedarcrest Drive came in around 2 a.m. referencing an overturned vehicle. Officers arrived and did not find an overturned vehicle, but rather an unconscious male bleeding from apparent stab wounds lying next to a running vehicle.
