In a 6-3 decision, the Court ruled that the law, which restricts surgeries and hormone treatments for those under 18, does not violate the Constitution. The decision sets a precedent likely to shield similar laws in at least 26 states, including Kentucky.

Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie filed a resolution on Tuesday to stop the United States from involvement in the Israel-Iran war. War Powers Resolutions are privileged in the House of Representatives and can be called up for debate and a floor vote after 15 calendar days without action in committee. "The Constitution does not permit the executive branch to unilaterally commit an act of war against a sovereign nation that hasn't attacked the United States," Massie said.
