BURLINGTON’S FORMER MAYOR MIRO WEINBERGER IS GOING BACK TO HIS ROOTS, HOPING TO FIND SOLUTIONS TO WHAT HE CALLS A HOUSING SCARCITY IN THE STATE. In Addison County, the town of Lincoln sits just below Mount Abraham. Vermont's fifth-tallest peak offers scenic views, whether you're climbing to the summit or driving through the Lincoln gap and when you need a rest, Lincoln has one of the coziest places to stay. "It used to be a logger's hotel for people to find the guys up on the working on the mount and then come down here and hang out in the upstairs bedrooms," Old Hotel Co-owner David Wood said.
