More than £8.3m has been approved to relocate a secondary school in Bristol. Children and Young People Policy Committee have approved £8.363m in capital funding to relocate Elmfield Secondary School for Deaf Children from Fairfield High School to the Badock’s Wood Academy site on Doncaster Road. The school is bi-lingual, bi-cultural aimed for children ages 3 to 16, with teaching and learning taking place in both spoken English and in British Sign Language.
