    A tractor driver and a motorcyclist are both fighting for their lives after a serious crash near Glastonbury. The collision took place on the B3151 Meare Road at around 9.58am on Thursday, May 29. The tractor driver had got out of a stationary yellow and green John Deere tractor, which was towing a trailer, before they were struck by a passing green Kawasaki ZX Ninja which was heading towards Glastonbury.

    A beach-goer has recounted the "awesome" experience of spotting a shark off the coast of Cornwall over the bank holiday weekend. The creature, believed to be a basking shark, was photographed at Porthcothan Beach, just north of Mawgan Porth. Lucy Rodford and her cousin Grace Henley initially mistook what they saw in the sea for a seal. Upon closer observation, they realised it "definitely wasn't" a seal.
