    At its best, TV is a social experience. It's turning up to work on a Monday and immediately discussing last night's episode of Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad or Succession. The weekly format of those water-cooler classics meant we had more time to digest each episode, discuss plot developments, and speculate about future storylines.

    There are some consistency issues with ABC iview. When you start watching a miniseries, the first episode of each season is clearly labelled in order, like "Episode 1: Corpse in a British Canal." Clear as day!But when I decided to watch Bluey (for the first time - not bad), I looked at season one and found there was no episode number next to any of the 52 episodes available.

    The first season laid the groundwork for the show's social and political complexity. Why would anyone want to join the police in Belfast where, for some, sectarian divides and criminal gangs are a daily presence? This is a community where something as innocuous as a parade could spark intense violence and the police need to be aware of the past as well as the present.
