The Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) is a compact daily newspaper based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and is owned by Nine. It was established in 1831 under the name Sydney Herald, making it the oldest newspaper still in circulation in Australia. The SMH is known as the most widely-read newspaper in the nation.
