Minneapolis police are investigating another homicide in the city's downtown area. "This is a repeated story around the nature of community violence," says Police Chief Brian O'Hara. A 14-year-old boy was shot and killed Monday night in downtown Minneapolis following an apparent fight that happened near the Federal Reserve Bank building and the Hennepin Avenue bridge. There are no arrests. "The problem here is when teenagers have guns," O'Hara says.

Volunteers on Friday are busy setting up the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Animal Human Society, their "Walk for Animals."It's so big they're having the walk for animals at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Pet owners can walk their fur babies on a one-mile loop as many times as they want, making donations, and visiting a vast number of presentations and merchandise sales.
