BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Fair is the Super Bowl for kids in the Future Farmers of America program. For Alissa Cisneros, auction day might be met with tears. “I’m already attached but at the end of it, you know what you signed up for,” High School senior Cisneros said. It would be hard to spend a summer with Buddy the goat and not get attached. It’s been said there’s not a dry eye at auction time. Alissa has stayed the course nonetheless. Buddy is the second goat she’s raised.
