Chief Meteorologist Miles Muzio compiled a list of the top 5 weather events in Kern County this year. #5 - The end of a 2-year exceptional drought:After exceedingly dry years of the previous decade, another impactful drought was declared just before Christmas 2020. However a complete reversal of the weather pattern developed in November of 2022.
