Rhode Island beaches offer beautiful sunset views and fishing opportunities. Popular walking spots include Narragansett Town Beach, Napatree Point and First Beach. Recommended fishing spots include Napatree Point, Quonochontaug Breachway and Narrow River Inlet. While Rhode Island’s beaches are great places to go during the day to catch some sun or take a dip, they’re also worth visiting later in the day for a walk or to cast a fishing line. Just make sure you check on parking before heading out.

Rodenticides are often used to treat rat infestations, but can be fatal to owls, raptors and other birds that prey on rats and mice. A 2020 study of 43 red-tailed hawks by Tufts Wildlife Clinic found that every single one had some level of rodenticide poisoning. A representative of Big Blue Bug Solutions testified that the bill would be problematic for public health and disproportionately harm people of color.
