Captain Russell Winder said the city recently received a grant to purchase 133 "Blink" cameras and mounted lights. Capt. The birds have reportedly been tearing up rubber roofing and causing leaks in homes, prompting the borough to take action. The Carlisle Borough recently approved a nearly $25,000 contract with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to address the issue.

(WHP) — A crew of five is being treated for injuries after the plane they were on crashed into the parking lot of a retirement community in Manheim Township on Sunday afternoon. The NTSB is investigating alongside the FAA and local officials.
