The city of Hartford is getting $5.4 million to clean up a polluted property just south of Interstate 84 along the CTfastrak busway on the West Hartford townline, after the State Bond Commission approved new borrowing for the work on Friday. Hartford acquired the parcels at 490 and 500 Flatbush Ave. in 2021 as part of a tax foreclosure action against Danny Corp., a metal recycling plant and scrapyard that had long been operated on the property.
