Over one hundred pufferfish have washed up on St Kilda West and Port Melbourne beaches, prompting Port Phillip Council to urge caution among residents. Mayor of the City of Port Phillip Councillor Louise Crawford warned beach walkers to keep their dogs close, as the fish could be toxic if their pets lick or eat them.
